Russ Shields is co-chair of the ITU Collaboration on ITS Communications Standards.
Mr. Shields is a member of the National Space-Based Positioning, Navigation and Timing Advisory Board, a U.S. Presidential advisory committee.
Mr. Shields is a recipient of the University of the Chicago Booth School of Business Distinguished Alumni Award in the category of Entrepreneurship.
Mr. Shields is an SAE Fellow and a recipient of the SAE Delco Electronics ITS Award.
Mr. Shields is a board member of the ITS World Congress and a member of its hall of fame.
